Our services must be used responsibly, and must not be used to send prohibited items, engage in illegal activities or violate the rights of third parties. It is your responsibility for any prohibited item sent or the improper use of the services under your name.
It is important that you understand that the provision of our services is subject to availability and that BrownBoxes may limit, suspend, or terminate services as set forth in these Terms.
All of your shipments should be labeled the way we indicate, with the purpose of ensuring that your packages, documents, parcels, etc. arrive and are received safely and correctly.
By failing to properly label your shipment there might be mishaps such as delays, being shipped by improper transportation, or even lost. In these cases, BrownBoxes is committed to helping you recover your shipments; however, we are not responsible for the consequences caused by the mislabeling of the order.
If the error is caused by the supplier then we will ask you to present evidence of how you labeled your order originally when verifying the veracity of the information, BrownBoxes package proceeds to give you a solution for the problem in which both parties agree, there is no fault on the part of the customer or the Company.
We are only responsible for losses, delays, damages, or errors in the service, if your cargo is confirmed by us as received, and is correctly labeled. Under this situation the Company will compensate the cusrtomer according to the nature of the problem.
Any payment for service must be made in Nicaragua, and you cannot cancel the shipment in the United States. It is expected that once the order is received in Nicaragua to purchase the weight, the status of the order, and the content to make the corresponding payment. We only accept cash payments made at our Managua office or transfer to accounts provided by our staff.
Due to legal issues and customs regulations, the shipment of the following items are prohibited:
All official quotes are made by our sales agents, quotes by friends, acquaintances, referrals, etc. are not allowed Quotations last for 15 days and are subject to change without notice after 15 days.
Weighing Packages for air service are weighed separately, and the general rule of rounding applies, always maintaining the minimum weight of 1 pound for this service.
Packages for sea service are weighed together and with exact actual weight as long as they have been received within the same cut. The minimum weight of 1 pound is always maintained for this service.
Retention of packages due to internal logistics processes in our warehouse in the United States, we cannot retain packages waiting for another, everything that is received is dispatched at the corresponding departures
Pick up and delivery of packages If the customer wishes to send someone else to pick up their orders to our offices, they must notify us in advance. Not knowing, the package will not be delivered until notified by the owner.
We remind you that these times may vary if you do not follow the instructions given by us or communication channels authorized by BrownBoxes. Likewise, these times are subject to unforeseen circumstances due to unpredictable forces such as flight cancellations, bad weather, extended customs processes, etc.
We recommend you check your package while in our offices, since once delivered and the order leaves our branch, no claims of any kind are allowed.
